Fund Tokenization Providers Compared: Who Takes Which Role, and Where the Register Lives
Tokenizing a fund splits into four jobs: minting the token, keeping the official register, servicing the fund and reaching investors. Seven providers each take a different share of those jobs, and their regulatory status differs. The eighth route is a build on the manager's own stack, where an engineering firm writes the token contracts and the fund's licensed providers keep the rest.

Reviewed by Luis Medeiros, Field CTO at Protofire · Updated October 2026
Fund tokenization providers split by who keeps the official register. Securitize and Spiko keep it on public chains. Kinexys, Tokeny, Allfunds Blockchain and Calastone leave it with the fund's transfer agent or administrator. CACEIS records a DLT class beside the traditional ones. On your own stack, national law decides. Pick the register model, then the client list: live client lists are short for every provider except Securitize, which has announced no issuance on its EU system. Spiko tokenizes only its own SICAV, every named CACEIS class is for sister company Amundi, and Calastone tokenizes only funds already on its network. Your own stack keeps code and chains with you, but you pay for build and audit up front and licensed firms keep the regulated roles.
One route compared here is ours. Protofire builds ERC-3643 share tokens and ERC-4626 and ERC-7540 vaults on a client's own stack, the last option below, so on that route we compete with the platform providers. We are not a transfer agent, issuer, depositary or fund tokenization platform. Tokeny's team co-authored ERC-3643, the standard we build on, and the ERC3643 Association's member list does not include Protofire. Six of the seven verdicts point to a provider. Live funds, licenses and launches named here are those in a public release, filing, register, trade press report or rwa.xyz listing read on 18 October 2026; where none is named, we did not find one. By distributed value on rwa.xyz that day, Securitize led with $4.35 billion across 39 assets, ahead of Spiko ($2.83 billion, nine assets), Kinexys ($0.86 billion, two J.P. Morgan Asset Management funds) and Tokeny ($19 million, plus $284 million recordkeeping-only); rwa.xyz had no platform page for Allfunds Blockchain, Calastone or CACEIS. Other comparisons are in our decision guides.
Fund tokenization providers by role and register

The largest tokenized Treasury and cash products, and the platform behind each
Distributed value on rwa.xyz on 18 October 2026, meaning tokens investors can subscribe to and hold in their own wallets or through custodians, on a log scale so the smaller bars stay legible. Four bars run on three of the providers compared here: Securitize is transfer agent for BUIDL, Spiko Finance keeps the registers of SAFO's euro class and EUTBL, and JLTXX runs on Kinexys with SS&C GIDS as transfer agent. The other six run outside this comparison. Circle's USYC, which represents shares of a Cayman fund, and Ondo's USDY, a debt note listed because rankings include it, sit on Circle's and Ondo's own platforms. Franklin Templeton (iBENJI, FOBXX) and WisdomTree (WTGXX) run their own platforms, and Superstate is transfer agent for USTB, which Invesco now manages. SAFO, shown by its euro class, is a swap-based UCITS sub-fund and EUTBL a euro T-bill money market sub-fund, both of Spiko's French SICAV. JLTXX reported $628.5 million of net assets on 30 September; USTB is shown onchain only, without its $207.2 million of book-entry shares. Tokenized US Treasury products totalled $14.71 billion of distributed value.
Who does what on each route?
Securitize
- +Holds the key roles in-house: an SEC-registered transfer agent, a FINRA-member broker-dealer that operates an ATS, an SEC-registered adviser and a fund administration arm
- +39 assets worth $4.35 billion on rwa.xyz on 18 October 2026, led by BlackRock's BUIDL at $2.17 billion, the largest tracked book among these providers
- +Its transfer agent keeps the master securityholder file on public chains, with investor personal data held off-chain
- +An EU footprint: a Spanish investment firm that runs a DLT trading and settlement system under the DLT Pilot Regime (the EU's pilot rules for trading and settlement venues on distributed ledgers), permitted since 26 November 2025
- −No first issuance announced on its EU trading and settlement system
- −Funds admitted to that EU system fall under the DLT Pilot Regime caps: UCITS-type funds under EUR 500 million of assets, and EUR 6 billion per system in total
- −Part of that $4.35 billion is Securitize's own product: feeder funds it runs into other managers' funds, such as the KKR and Hamilton Lane feeders at $4 million to $9 million each
- −A manager relies on one group for several regulated roles: Securitize can be transfer agent, placement agent and, for some funds, administrator
Securitize Corp. has traded on the NYSE as SECZ since 2 July 2026, after its merger with Cantor Equity Partners II closed on 1 July. Its second-quarter 2026 results list the four businesses it runs around a token. Securitize Markets is an SEC-registered broker-dealer that operates an alternative trading system (ATS), Securitize Transfer Agent an SEC-registered transfer agent and Securitize Capital an SEC-registered investment adviser. Securitize Fund Services serviced 663 active funds with $24.3 billion of assets under administration at 30 June 2026.
Securitize's transfer agent holds the official record on public chains. In its July 2026 registration statement, Securitize says it acts "as the official SEC-registered transfer agent for the majority of our customers" and uses "a public blockchain as the master securityholder file". Personal data stays "In our off-chain proprietary system", the filing adds. BlackRock's prospectus for BRSRV, its stablecoin reserve vehicle, says the same: Securitize Transfer Agent "maintains the official record of ownership of OnChain Shares on the public blockchains". The manager keeps the rest. At BUIDL's launch in March 2024, BlackRock was investment manager, BNY custodian and administrator, Securitize transfer agent and tokenization platform, and Securitize Markets placement agent.
In Europe, ESMA's list of DLT market infrastructures shows Securitize Europe DLT TSS, run by its Spanish investment firm Securitize Europe Brokerage and Markets under CNMV supervision, with permission from 26 November 2025. Securitize expected its first issuance there, on Avalanche, in early 2026. In September 2026 it still described a planned sports-equity project with Socios.com as "expected to become the first tokenization project" on that system.
BUIDL itself runs as 10 tokens on 9 networks, with Solana the largest leg, and Securitize issues on its own DS Protocol, whose DSToken is "a strict superset of ERC20". The rwa.xyz platform total of $4.35 billion across 39 assets includes about $949 million in one venture fund and about $255 million of Securitize's own tokenized stock. Some names that read as manager launches, such as the KKR and Hamilton Lane funds, are Securitize-run feeders into those managers' funds, at $4 million to $9 million each on the same listing.
Tokeny (Apex Group)
- +Built on ERC-3643, a Final Ethereum standard its team co-authored: the token rules follow an open specification
- +Owned by Apex Group, a fund administrator: the token layer and the administration can come from one group, as for Fasanara's FAST token
- +The issuer defines and manages the NAV, per Tokeny's documentation
- −Not in the CSSF register: a search returned no entity for Tokeny, and the regulated roles sit with Apex or the manager's own providers
- −Four named live funds: Fasanara's FAST on Polygon (size not published), SkyBridge's two hedge fund tokens on Avalanche and Coinbase Asset Management's Bitcoin Yield Fund on Base
- −rwa.xyz shows about $284 million "represented" (recordkeeping-only), all in SkyBridge's two tokens with one holder each, and $19 million distributed across 3 Tokeny assets; the "$32bn" in Apex's deal release counts cumulative issuance
Apex Group took a majority stake in Tokeny on 21 May 2025, in a deal that "will see Apex Group have 100% control over the next three years". The same release says Tokeny's solutions "have been used to tokenise over $32bn USD in assets", a cumulative figure. A search of the CSSF entity register for "Tokeny" returned no entity on 18 October 2026. Tokeny supplies the issuance and compliance software, and authorized firms, Apex among them, hold the administrator and transfer agent roles.
The clearest live case is Fasanara Capital's money market fund token, FAST, launched in January 2025 on Polygon PoS with ERC-3643; Apex, the fund's administrator, "uses Tokeny's blockchain-based platform for transfer agency management", and the fund's size is not published. SkyBridge announced $300 million across two hedge funds on Avalanche in August 2025. rwa.xyz now lists both as ERC-3643 tokens on Tokeny's platform, Legion Strategies at $217.9 million and Digital Macro Fund at $66.0 million on 18 October 2026. Each has one holder and is classed as "represented", meaning the chain serves as a recordkeeping layer rather than for investor transfers. The same listing adds Coinbase Asset Management's Bitcoin Yield Fund on Base at $18.9 million.
On the token itself, Tokeny's documentation says the NAV "is defined and managed by the issuers", and it sets out separate owner and agent roles for compliance settings and for handling subscription and redemption orders. ERC-3643 is a Final Ethereum standard co-authored by Tokeny's team, and its reference contracts are public, so a manager that leaves the platform can keep the standard. How it compares with ERC-1400 and a plain permissioned ERC-20 is set out in RWA token standards.
Kinexys by J.P. Morgan
- +BlackRock's 12 Institutional Cash Series (ICS) OnChain classes across 6 Irish UCITS money market funds, live since 4 August 2026, the most classes in any European program on this page
- +An explicit register model: the official shareholder register stays with the fund's transfer agent, and Kinexys translates between the chain and that register
- +A live fund from its own group on the same rails: J.P. Morgan Asset Management's JLTXX had $628.5 million of net assets on 30 September 2026
- +A bank counterparty: Kinexys is a business unit of J.P. Morgan Payments
- −BlackRock has not published the tokenized supply: the US$311 billion in its launch headline is the six funds' assets
- −Two named managers, both with money market funds: BlackRock, plus J.P. Morgan Asset Management's own JLTXX
- −Schroders' SOAR class has Central Bank of Ireland approval but no announced launch
Kinexys is J.P. Morgan's blockchain business unit, part of J.P. Morgan Payments. Its live fund client in Europe is BlackRock: on 4 August 2026 BlackRock launched 12 OnChain share classes across six Irish UCITS money market funds of its Institutional Cash Series, minted on Ethereum through Kinexys. BlackRock says "the official shareholder register continues to be maintained via the fund's transfer agent infrastructure", and that Kinexys "acts as the translation layer between on-chain activity and the fund's transfer agent and traditional share register". The US$311 billion in the headline is the six funds' combined assets; BlackRock has not said how many shares are held as tokens.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management runs its own fund on the same rails. JLTXX, a 1940 Act government money market fund launched on 13 May 2026, is "the second fund to use J.P. Morgan's multi-chain asset tokenization solution", which rwa.xyz lists as the Kinexys Digital Assets platform, with $0.86 billion across two assets on 18 October 2026. JLTXX reported $628.5 million of net assets on 30 September 2026, with SS&C GIDS as transfer agent. Its October 2026 prospectus supplement says the transfer agent keeps the official record "in traditional book-entry form", adds Solana and limits holders to allowlisted wallets.
Schroders' SOAR, the next European client, is a tokenized share class of an Irish US dollar money market fund using Kinexys, with J.P. Morgan as the fund's existing transfer agent. It received Central Bank of Ireland approval in August 2026 as a digital twin share class, which keeps a traditional register beside a replica digital record.
Allfunds Blockchain
- +Works alongside a separate transfer agent: Apex Group is transfer agent for Hamilton Lane's tokenized class, with Allfunds Blockchain as technology provider
- +A live case outside money market funds: Hamilton Lane's Global Private Assets Fund class (May 2026), with BBVA Asset Management committed as first investor
- +Distribution comes with it: the tokenized class is available through the Allfunds platform
- +A regulated group bank: Allfunds Bank is a Bank of Spain credit institution authorized by the CNMV as broker and fund distributor
- −Named live tokenized classes: one (Hamilton Lane GPA, May 2026), with chain and size not disclosed
- −The earlier BNP Paribas AM case (May 2025), natively tokenized shares of a Luxembourg money market fund, was presented by BNP Paribas AM as "testing cross-border transactions"
- −No financial license or supervisory register entry in Allfunds Blockchain's own name
- −Ownership is changing: Deutsche Börse's agreed takeover of Allfunds is expected to complete in the first half of 2027
Allfunds Blockchain is the digital innovation arm of Allfunds, the fund distribution platform, as Hamilton Lane's release below puts it. The regulated entity in the group is Allfunds Bank, S.A.U., a credit institution registered with the Bank of Spain under number 0011 and authorized by the CNMV to act as a broker and fund distributor.
Its live tokenized class is Hamilton Lane's Global Private Assets Fund (26 May 2026), available through the Allfunds platform and "supported by Allfunds Blockchain as the technology provider and Apex Group as transfer agent". BBVA Asset Management has committed to becoming first investor and initial exclusive distributor for institutional portfolios; chain and size are not disclosed. Earlier, BNP Paribas Asset Management issued natively tokenized shares of a Luxembourg money market fund on Allfunds Blockchain in May 2025, with BNP Paribas' Securities Services business as transfer agent. In both cases the transfer agent role sat with a separate firm, not with Allfunds Blockchain.
Deutsche Börse's recommended takeover of Allfunds won Allfunds shareholder approval on 12 March 2026, with completion expected in the first half of 2027.
Calastone (SS&C)
- +Tokenizes funds already on its network without changing how they are structured, administered or serviced
- +Tokens mint and burn in line with real-time subscriptions and redemptions
- +L&G's US dollar, euro and sterling liquidity funds, live since 14 April 2026
- +Reach: 4,500 clients in 58 countries and territories when SS&C completed its purchase in October 2025
- −One named live manager, L&G, with liquidity funds
- −No published token supply: the "over £50 billion" in L&G's release is the funds' assets, and rwa.xyz does not track the tokens
- −Only for funds that already operate on Calastone's network
Calastone runs a fund order-routing and settlement network that SS&C Technologies completed buying on 14 October 2025, when it had "4,500 clients in 58 countries and territories". Calastone states on its website that it "is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority". Its Tokenised Distribution service lets a manager "tokenise any fund operating on Calastone's network" "without requiring asset managers to change how their funds are structured, administered, or serviced". Tokens mint and burn "in line with real-time subscriptions and redemptions", on networks that include Ethereum, Polygon and Canton.
The named live client is Legal & General: its USD, EUR and GBP liquidity funds went live on 14 April 2026, initially on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains. Calastone provides "the underlying technology for token creation, order routing, trade aggregation, reconciliation and on chain settlement functionality", per the release. The "over £50 billion in liquidity assets" in that release is the size of the funds now offered in token form. Neither firm has published a token supply, and rwa.xyz does not list the tokens.
Spiko
- +The Spiko Amundi Overnight Swap Fund (SAFO), the largest EU-domiciled tokenized fund on rwa.xyz: its euro class alone held $1.69 billion on 18 October 2026
- +The register sits on public ledgers by prospectus: Ethereum, Polygon PoS, Arbitrum One, Starknet, Base, Etherlink and Stellar
- +A full UCITS setup: Twenty First Capital as management company, CACEIS Bank as depositary, CACEIS Fund Administration as administrator and PwC as auditor
- +A manager can join without building or distributing: Spiko Finance clears orders and acts as distributor, and Amundi manages SAFO's portfolio as delegated investment manager
- −Only its own SICAV: rwa.xyz lists all nine Spiko assets under Spiko as issuer, and Amundi joined as delegated manager of one sub-fund
- −Cash products only: the SICAV's four sub-funds are three T-bill money market funds and one overnight swap fund
- −A manager relies on one operator for the register, order clearing and distribution: Spiko Finance holds all three roles
Spiko Finance is a French investment firm licensed by the ACPR under number CIB 19183. It is the platform behind SPIKO SICAV, a French UCITS created on 15 May 2024 with four sub-funds: US, EU and UK T-bill money market funds and the Spiko Amundi Overnight Swap Fund (SAFO). The May 2026 prospectus names Twenty First Capital (AMF GP-11000029) as management company, delegates SAFO's investment management to Amundi Asset Management, and appoints CACEIS Bank as depositary and custodian, CACEIS Fund Administration as administrative agent and PwC as auditor.
The prospectus says "Spiko Finance maintains control over the management of the shareholder register" and "relies on public Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT)", naming seven ledgers. Orders "are cleared by Spiko Finance", which is also a distributor. Amundi's March 2026 release sets out the split for SAFO: "Amundi serves as SAFO's delegated investment manager, with CACEIS acting as depositary bank and fund administrator. Spiko acts as transfer agent, tokenization platform, and broker for the fund shares."
On 18 October 2026 rwa.xyz counted $2.83 billion across nine Spiko assets and about 18,400 holders, with SAFO's euro class at $1.69 billion and the EU T-bill fund at $638.7 million. Spiko raised a $90 million Series B led by New Enterprise Associates on 6 October 2026.
CACEIS (Crédit Agricole CACEIS)
- +Depositary, custody, fund administration and transfer agency in one bank group, wholly owned by Crédit Agricole
- +Live DLT classes for Amundi: Amundi Funds Cash EUR's J28 EUR DLT (C) class on public Ethereum since 4 November 2025, and euro and dollar classes of an Amundi short-term money market fund for Ant International (June 2026)
- +A €100 million subscription in the tokenized Amundi unit (October 2026), from Crédit Agricole Assurances, part of the same group
- +Already depositary and custodian of a token-native register, Spiko's SICAV
- −Every named live DLT class is an Amundi money market fund, and Amundi is part of the Crédit Agricole group
- −Sizes are unpublished beyond the €100 million subscription
- −The chain for the Ant International classes is not stated
CACEIS is the asset servicing bank of Crédit Agricole, which has owned all of it since buying Santander's 30.5% stake in July 2025, and it has used the Crédit Agricole CACEIS brand since 1 October 2026 (reported by AziendaBanca). Its named tokenized classes are all for Amundi, which is 68.4% owned by the Crédit Agricole group, per Amundi's shareholder data at 30 June 2026. The first transaction in Amundi Funds Cash EUR's J28 EUR DLT (C) share class took place on 4 November 2025. The class uses the public Ethereum blockchain "to ensure transparent recordkeeping of fund units", and the fund "remains accessible in the traditional way". CACEIS "provides the technology and infrastructure for tokenizing fund units, digital portfolios for investors, and the digital order platform", a model its chief executive called a "new hybrid Transfer Agent service".
Crédit Agricole Assurances invested €100 million in that unit in October 2026, and the release presents the insurer, Amundi and CACEIS as three parts of one Crédit Agricole group. In June 2026 CACEIS acted "as the transfer agent and tokenization agent" for tokenized euro and dollar share classes of an Amundi short-term money market fund for Ant International. It is also depositary and custodian of Spiko's SICAV, and the Spiko prospectus above lists CACEIS Bank as a crypto-asset service provider authorized by the AMF on 23 June 2025.
Your own stack, with an engineering partnerProtofire's model
- +Open standards with public code: ERC-3643 (Final) for permissioned share tokens, with its official contract suite on GitHub under GPL-3.0 (a copyleft license for counsel to review), and ERC-7540 (Final) for asynchronous subscriptions and redemptions on ERC-4626 vaults
- +The fund can keep its transfer agent, depositary and administrator, as on the Kinexys and Calastone routes
- +The manager picks the chains, the custodian and the KYC provider
- −Nothing regulated comes with it: the depositary, a registrar your national law recognizes, NAV calculation and KYC stay with licensed parties
- −No provider track record to show a board or a regulator: each build is the manager's own, with no shared client list
- −No distribution network or investor base comes with the build, unlike Allfunds or Calastone
- −The manager, or its partner, carries upgrades, chain support, audits and incident response for the life of the token
- −Up-front cost and lead time: the contracts, the integrations with the transfer agent, KYC provider and custodian, and an external audit are paid for and finished before the first token, while a provider's rails are already live
On this route the manager keeps its transfer agent, depositary and administrator, and an engineering firm deploys the token and vault contracts on the chains the manager picks, then connects them to the register, the KYC provider and the custodian. Protofire is one such firm, as the disclosure above says. ERC-3643 is a Final standard for permissioned tokens, and its official contract suite now lives at github.com/ERC-3643 under GPL-3.0, since the older TokenySolutions repository was deprecated. ERC-7540, also Final, adds asynchronous deposit and redeem requests to ERC-4626 vaults, which fits funds that take orders to a cut-off and strike the NAV afterwards. Such a vault takes deposits in one ERC-20 token, its underlying asset, so a euro fund that settles subscriptions onchain in euros needs a euro token for that cash leg. Euro tokens with a white paper in ESMA's MiCA register differ on who may redeem directly and how fast payout comes, as our euro stablecoin comparison of seven of them sets out.
A build replaces the token vendor and leaves the regulated roles where they are. A UCITS still needs a single depositary under Article 22(1) of the UCITS Directive. In Luxembourg, the CSSF's tokenisation FAQ of 2 October 2026 keeps the registrar function with a UCI administrator, the licensed administrator of a Luxembourg fund, even where a control agent is appointed under Luxembourg's dematerialised securities law. It also lets the control agent use "a third-party service provider to obtain technical support", such as smart contract development. The CSSF expects that arrangement to be notified as an ICT third-party arrangement supporting a critical or important function under DORA, the EU's Digital Operational Resilience Act. In Germany, § 3 of the crypto fund units ordinance (KryptoFAV) makes the register keeper the depositary or a firm the depositary appoints that holds a crypto securities registrar license.
The build route suits a manager or transfer agent that wants the contracts and the choice of chains under its own control. Such a firm also has to pay for the build and its audit before the first token, and bring distribution and the operating work itself. A provider suits one that wants a licensed party and a list of live clients to point to from the first day.
Named live tokenized funds and who runs each layer
Scroll the table sideways to see all 6 columns.
Status and sizes as of the date in each row: JLTXX from its SEC Form N-MFP3 filing, USTB from Superstate's fund page, the Amundi figure from CACEIS, others from rwa.xyz. Live means open to investors on the named rails. Sources are linked in the provider sections above and in the list below. "Not published" means neither the manager nor the provider has given a figure for the tokenized class itself.
Who should keep your fund's register?
an SEC-registered transfer agent should keep the official record on public chains, and you want placement through its broker-dealer and, if needed, its fund administration.
the fund is an existing UCITS whose transfer agent will keep the register while the token mirrors it; for Schroders' approved SOAR class, that transfer agent is J.P. Morgan.
Apex already administers the fund or keeps its register and can add an ERC-3643 token, as it did for Fasanara's FAST.
the fund already deals through Calastone, as L&G's funds do, or through Allfunds, as Hamilton Lane's does, and tokens should reach new investors without changing how the fund is serviced.
you want to manage the portfolio while an operator keeps the register on public chains, clears orders and distributes, as Amundi does for SAFO.
CACEIS already services the fund in France or Luxembourg and you want a DLT class next to the traditional ones, as for Amundi Funds Cash EUR.
your transfer agent and depositary stay, you want open-standard token and vault contracts under your control, and you can pay for a build and its audit up front, then bring distribution and operations yourself.
Which other firms tokenize funds?
- Franklin Templeton (Benji): a manager on its own platform. FOBXX's affiliated transfer agent keeps the official record "via a proprietary blockchain-integrated system" on Stellar and seven other chains, per its July 2026 prospectus. Franklin's grBENJI, a share class of its Luxembourg UCITS money fund, has traded on the 21X DLT trading and settlement system since 13 May 2026.
- WisdomTree: SEC-registered funds with an affiliated transfer agent, WisdomTree Transfers. For WTGXX "The Transfer Agent's book-entry records constitute the official record of share ownership", and the chain carries a digital representation, per its prospectus. Its WisdomTree Onchain offer of 29 September 2026 includes an onchain transfer agent for other issuers, with no third-party client named.
- BNY: its LiquidityDirect platform works with GS DAP, Goldman Sachs' digital asset platform. Together they offer "mirrored record tokenization" of money market funds from BlackRock, BNY Investments Dreyfus, Federated Hermes, Fidelity Investments and Goldman Sachs Asset Management, with BNY keeping "the official books, records, and settlements" (July 2025). BNY is also transfer agent and tokenization provider for BlackRock's BSTBL OnChain Shares, a tokenized class of its Select Treasury Based Liquidity Fund (August 2026). Northern Trust Asset Management's first tokenized class, for its NIF Treasury Instruments Portfolio, is a "digital mirror record" of the fund's institutional class, offered initially on LiquidityDirect (March 2026).
- Superstate: an SEC-registered transfer agent (Superstate Services, SEC file 084-06972) for a fund another firm manages. USTB is now the Invesco Short Duration US Government Securities Fund, managed by Invesco Advisers, with Superstate keeping tokenized issuance and the register. Superstate's fund page showed $821.4 million on 15 October 2026, of which $207.2 million in book-entry shares that onchain trackers leave out.
- Archax: issues its own beneficial ownership tokens that represent investors' holdings in existing UCITS money market funds, so the token sits with Archax rather than in the fund's own register. rwa.xyz counted 10 Archax assets worth $139.8 million on 18 October 2026. About $60 million of that sat in eight tokens over money market funds from Aberdeen, Fidelity International, State Street, BlackRock and LGIM, and the rest in a Montis Group private equity token and a Canary Capital crypto token.
- Centrifuge and Anemoy: a tokenization protocol and an asset manager, Anemoy, whose British Virgin Islands funds run strategies from Janus Henderson, Apollo and NYLIM. rwa.xyz counted about $1.0 billion across nine Centrifuge assets on 18 October 2026, $964 million of it in five Anemoy-issued funds led by the Janus Henderson AAA CLO Fund.
- Libeara (SC Ventures, Standard Chartered): a Singapore tokenization platform that received an MAS Capital Markets Services licence in March 2026; rwa.xyz counted $825.4 million on it on 18 October 2026, of which $701.7 million in 11 ChinaAMC fund tokens.
- KAIO (formerly Libre Capital): renamed in July 2025, when it said it had tokenized more than US$200 million in assets from BlackRock, Brevan Howard, Hamilton Lane and Laser Digital. Those managers run the underlying funds that KAIO's tokens give access to.
- Announced, not yet live for funds: Broadridge DLX (September 2026) says asset managers can tokenize and issue funds, but names no client. Goldman Sachs announced in November 2024 that it would explore spinning GS DAP out as an industry-owned platform.
- DTCC: its Depository Trust Company (DTC) is adding a tokenization service for assets it already holds in custody, ETFs tracking major indices among them, under an SEC no-action letter of December 2025 that runs for three years. The tokens "provide the same entitlements, investor protections and ownership rights as the assets held in traditional form", DTCC says. After production trades on 15 July 2026 on Besu and Canton, DTCC said the service would launch in October 2026; no launch had been announced by 19 October 2026.
- Which chain the fund token runs on: validators, finality and Basel treatment differ by network, as compared in institutional blockchains.
- Protofire blueprints for these routes: for private credit, as in Securitize's ACRED feeder into Apollo Diversified Credit Fund, the tokenized private credit fund blueprint starts from NAV cadence, which any lending market accepting the units inherits in its price feed and liquidation trigger. Which lending markets and exchanges accept fund tokens today is compared in lending against tokenized assets. For one class on a fund already in market (Kinexys, Allfunds Blockchain), the digital share class blueprint works through register and chain divergence: tokens move between approved wallets around the clock while the transfer agent's register stays the legal record. For an administrator adding a token layer, as Apex does with Tokeny, the fund tokenization as an admin service blueprint deals with concentration: every client's token runs on one provider's contracts and applications, which can fail or change hands. For a new euro money market fund on Spiko's model, the tokenized euro money market fund blueprint takes on the run risk an ECB article of April 2026 describes: tokens may be redeemable around the clock, while the fund deals only at fixed cut-off times.
